Conamara Sea Week – Letterfrack

Conamara Sea Week is a multi-disciplinary festival, celebrating the wonderful marine heritage of Conamara. The festival celebrated it’s 30th birthday in 2014 and has grown to be a wonderful and unique festival with something to interest all age groups. Highlights include music workshops, art exhibitions, concerts, talks, walks, children’s activities, sports events, lots of great music and buckets of fun for all the family.
A special highlight of the festival for the last few years has been the wonderful ‘After the Light’ parade, a spectacular night full of myth, magic, madness and mayhem!

Clifden Arts Week 15th – 25th Sept 2016

The longest running community arts festival in Ireland, Clifden Community Arts Week, now in its 39th year will take place from September 15th – 25th and yet again promises to have something to excite everyone in this years programme. Audiences can expect a very high quality artistic programme with a superb literary, musical and visual art content which again will have the community arts of Clifden and the surrounding hinterland as a central focus with creative writing, music, theatre, graphic design and film workshops and performances taking place in the local schools for the duration of the festival.

Connemara Green Festival June 17th – 19th

Another great festival happens in Letterfrack this June. The Connemara Green Festival is an exciting new festival in its 2nd year which celebrates Mother Nature, aims to raise awareness of the unique ecology of Connemara and raise funds for biodiversity projects.

The theme this year is ‘Ecology, Food and Landscape’. The festival takes place from Friday 17th June to Sunday 19th June and is based in Letterfrack village, Connemara, at the foot of the majestic Connemara National Park on the Wild Atlantic Way.
